The Current State of Disaster Recovery and Business ContinuityRFG believes although steps are currently being taken to ensure disaster recovery (DR) and business continuity (BC) in the enterprise, current emphasis and funding fail to emphasize the criticality of both. IT executives should investigate the current DR/BC plan(s) at their enterprises, and ensure that adequate policies and procedures are in place. IT executives should also work with line of business (LOB) managers to implement and periodically test such plans to ensure their performance in times of need.
